Mukesh Beher
Mukesh has over 20 years of software development experience and has built numerous large scale database applications using many popular database products like SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 and has several patents in the database arena. Mukesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and certifications including MCSE and Scrum Master. Mukesh has been employed with Microsoft since 1999 and has worked as a consultant and programming professional with several fortune 500 companies prior to joining Microsoft.
Mike Bennett
Mike Bennett has over 25 years of experience in all facets of engineering, technical operations, and training management in the Wireless Telecommunications industry. Since 2007 he has focused on Business Intelligence topics providing consulting and development services to companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, and AT&T.
Rick Morelan
Rick has worked for Microsoft since the late 90s and has attained over 30 Microsoft certifications in applications, networking, databases and .NET development, including MCDBA, MCTS, MCITP, MCAD, MOE, MCSE and MCSE+). He has also provided training for Northwest University, Volt Technical Education, and Microsoft. Rick is the author of the “SQL Joes 2 Pros” book series. He currently works as a Software Design Engineer in Test for the Windows Mobile group.
Mike Murphy
Mike Murphy spent several years in the financial services industry as a systems administrator, programmer, and consultant before joining Microsoft in 2005. Mike specializes in the development and support of Line of Business (LOB) applications utilizing large relational databases and data warehouses. Mike has taught database and database certification courses for 10 years, and holds several Microsoft certifications, including an MCDBA.
Randal Root
Randal is a senior consultant specializing in .NET Programming, SQL Server Business Intelligence reporting and technical education. He has worked in the industry as a network administrator and programmer since the 1980s and holds several Microsoft professional certifications including MCSE, MCP+I, MCTS, MCDBA, MCAD, MCITP and MCT. Randal has also provided training for organizations that include Microsoft and the University of Washington. His primary subject areas include Windows, Web, and database programming, as well as software testing and network administration. Randal recently co-authored the book "A Tester's Guide to .NET Programming" and is currently working on another book.
Carol Torkko
Carol is a computer applications consultant, and has specialized in developing and maintaining applications for users in the business world since 1994. She has been an instructor at Bellevue College since 1999. Carol has over 40 years of programming experience in various languages. Her career has included work for Safeco Insurance and PACCAR. She also served as the market research manager for Kenworth Truck Company, where she specialized in data analysis and industry forecasting. She also built an automated system that tracked the company’s truck orders. Carol is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and has a bachelor’s degree in math from University of California at Chico.
Kal Viswanathan
Kal is a senior applications developer with Microsoft, where she has been employed since 1998. In the course of her career, she has held positions that include software developer, software engineer and applications engineer. Kal received her bachelor's degree in engineering in India and her master's degree in computer science from Western Michigan University. Her specialty is teaching Microsoft developer tools.
